• Your provider will sit down with you and talk about any concerns you may have and what brought you in

• Your provider will conduct a facial assessment

• Together you will discuss your goals and budget

• Then you will agree on a treatment plan and next steps

• If applicable, you will then receive your IPL Photofacial treatment

Pre

• Avoid sun exposure 2 weeks prior to treatment, cannot be treated with a sunburn

• Schedule treatment 2 weeks prior to a special event

• Cannot be pregnant or nursing at the time of treatment

Post

• Can apply a cold compress to reduce swelling, use a gentle cleanser, apply SPF

• Avoid working out, sun exposure and applying makeup for 48 hours

• Avoid acids, retinoids and exfoliants for 1 week post treatment

• Do not pick at the coffee-ground like scabs, let them slough off on their own
