Melissa, also known as The Beauty Nurse, has been an aesthetic injector since 2008.

Her lifelong dream has been to provide everything she’s ever loved and hoped for in one space. Crafted Beauty is the fruition of that dream. She graduated from Carroll College in Helena, Montana with a bachelor’s degree in Nursing. Her career started as an ortho-trauma nurse in both Missoula, Montana and Spokane, Washington. Her career then progressed into the aesthetic field where she found her true dream and passion.

Melissa’s innate personality traits parallel with the qualities needed to be an effective, compassionate injector. She believes in creating natural and youthful results for her patients of all ages. Melissa is also recognized as one of the elite national Allergan and Galderma trainers. She trains nurses, physicians, PA’s and NP’s on the safe and effective use and techniques for the industry’s leading products.

Melissa grew up on a ranch in Hamilton, Montana. Hence her love of animals and farm-to-table healthy foods. She has three sisters, the most supportive husband, and eight pets. She is happiest traveling, exploring new restaurants, and working to help people feel their best self.

Jacob Deakins, M.D, DABFM, FAWM is co-owner and Medical Director of Inland Wellness and Vitality, a specialty clinic focused on integrative and functional medicine.

Having worked in various aspects of medicine including primary care, urgent care, and emergency medicine, he realized that the system was broken. Patients were often rushed through their visits without adequate explanations or diagnoses for their problems. He realized the system was focused on sick care and not well care. His current focus is on hormonal and metabolic health, focusing on his patient’s unique needs through a detailed consultation and lab evaluation. This approach allows Dr. Deakins to uncover the root cause and establish a meaningful patient-physician collaboration to achieve optimal health. With his patients now experiencing optimal health from the inside-out, it was a natural transition to incorporate aesthetics to allow them to look their best on the outside as well. Dr. Deakins is married with 4 children who all enjoy travel, snowboarding, fly fishing, and most anything involving being in nature. He believes health is derived by focusing on our diet, exercise, nutrition, and our relationship with ourselves and our connections to others.

In 2017, Ashley earned her Bachelor’s in Business Administration with a concentration in Marketing. As she’s grown and developed through different specialties, she’s realized her passion for helping people and improving their experiences with the products and services she represents. While automation and technology have enhanced our everyday lives in so many ways, they will never replace human connection and the art of brand storytelling. That’s where she comes in. As soon as Ashley entered the aesthetics industry, she knew this is where she wanted to grow her career. Managing all of Crafted Beauty’s marketing efforts, Ashley develops evolving multi-channel communication strategies, connecting you with the quality providers, treatments, products, and experiences you know and love. When Ashley is not practicing the work she loves at Crafted Beauty, you can find her taking an OrangeTheory Fitness class, enjoying a patio happy hour, or going on adventures with her pup, Birdie.

Kyra Lindner is a nationally certified Physician Assistant, with a background in pediatric orthopedic spine surgery. She has a love for aesthetic medicine, and a passion for all things skin. After receiving her undergraduate degree from the University of Colorado at Boulder, and working as an orthopedic technician at the Children’s Hospital of Colorado, Kyra went on to complete her post-graduate work at Marshall B Ketchum University in Orange County California. Where she received a Master of Medical Science degree and Physician Assistant certification. Her passion for facial harmonization has guided her career in aesthetics. During her medical residency, she sought out artful approaches to youthful aging while working under exceptional plastic surgeons and injectors around the country. As a practicing aesthetic injector in LA, she honed her talents with injectables, using fillers and neuromodulators to build on existing beauty, and create a balanced aesthetic. She also emphasizes the importance of a comprehensive approach by incorporating skincare and collagen-stimulating treatments for optimal results. Kyra is known for her compassionate patient education, collaboration, and customized treatment plans. She enjoys continuing her aesthetic education by attending national conferences and training programs yearly, ensuring she is up to date on the latest research and advancements in cosmetic procedures, technology, and skincare. She focuses on enhancing natural beauty while preventing and restoring volume loss. As a member of Crafted Beauty, she is so happy to have found a practice that shares her comprehensive approach to aesthetics. In her downtime she loves planning trips to Disney, hiking with her hubby and dog, and shopping for everything/anything on amazon.

Katie’s career in nursing started after graduating with honors from Washington Sate University, Intercollegiate College of Nursing in 2008 receiving her BSN. After gaining experience as an RN in emergency medicine she graduated with a Masters Degree in Nursing as an honors graduate from Gonzaga in 2013 and certified as a Family Nurse Practitioner. She began her career as a Nurse Practitioner in emergency and family medicine as well as Urgent Care. Her love for aesthetics came while training in dermatology and I began focusing my education and training in aesthetics. While training, she crossed paths with Melissa Berg, RN and was so impressed with her knowledge, skills, technique and passion for aesthetics. She feels so fortunate to continue to work with her and the other talented, beautiful team members as the Nurse Practitioner at Crafted Beauty Spokane. She loves being able to serve the amazing clients of the Pacific Northwest and beyond. Her favorite aspect of her craft is helping women feel more beautiful and confident and getting to know her clients on a personal level. She loves to educate and inspire. Her personal belief is to try to be as healthy as you can while still indulging in the fun things in life. She is a wife and mother with a blended family of 5 kids. Her husband also works in the medical field as a Physician Assistant and served our country as a Captain in the Air Force. They are always on the go and love playing at the lake or up in the mountains.

Also known as our “confidence assistant,” Hailee started Cosmetic Assisting in 2019 and began her medical career working at a dermatology clinic. During her experience at her previous position, she found herself most interested in the cosmetic procedures she observed, motivating her to seek employment in the field she grew to love. She completed the Certified Medical Assistant program at SCC in 2022 and made honor roll all 4 quarters. She intends to further her career by pursuing a degree in nursing. Hailee thrives on patient interaction and ensuring patient’s questions and concerns are addressed with accuracy and care. Her kind and fun loving disposition matches her impeccable work ethic and we are blessed to have her on our team! When Hailee is not assisting one of the providers, she can be found with a bag of beef jerky and a pickle. You can catch her playing volleyball and spending time with her husband and bonus daughter on her time off.

Erin received her Master Esthetician license in 2005 in Salt Lake City. A Spokane native with a passion for skin care combined with the love of helping others she truly enjoys what she does. She believes beauty begins on the inside and the importance of maintaining healthy skin holistically. From giving a relaxing facial to a medical-based treatment, educating and creating customized regimens, she empowers her patients to feel confident in their skin by using clean medical-grade products and in-clinic treatments to help them achieve their skin care goals. She loves living in the PNW. In her free time you’ll find her enjoying coffee, live music, yoga, exploring outside and spending time with her son.

Jules is a Certified Laser Technician and Certified Massage Therapist who is passionate about skin health and dedicated to helping others achieve their optimal appearance. She provides a scientific and holistic approach to meet the individual needs of her patients. Jules is determined to establish a custom plan for her patients that address their beauty needs and yield effective, successful results. Her inviting, warm personality gives her a natural ability to instantly connect with those in her company and form long-lasting relationships. When Jules isn’t here, you can find her at the local coffee houses sipping on matcha with friends, loving on her two kittens, exploring the outdoors or traveling the world with her husband.

Chelsey’s love of skincare started at a very young age. As a little girl she would sit in the bathroom and watch her mom take her makeup off and wash away the day every night. She found something so special in that nightly ritual of cleansers, serums and moisturizers. When she graduated high school she had no doubt in her mind what she wanted to do. As soon as she got that diploma in her hands she went to Glen Dow Academy where she would get her esthetics license in 2013, along with the school’s excellence award. She immediately continued on to get her Master Esthetics license through the National Institute of Medical Aesthetics to expand her knowledge base and widen her scope of practice. She loves helping patients elevate their natural beauty by providing them with exceptional skincare experiences. She believes taking good care of our skin is as essential to our health as eating well and exercising. Educating patients about how to achieve healthy, glowing skin and seeing their skincare frustrations fade away is one of the most rewarding parts of her career. Her gentle and caring demeanor makes you feel instantly at home like you wouldn’t want to be anywhere else in the world because you know you’re in the right hands. Whether you are frustrated with breakouts, hyper-pigmentation, age-related skin issues, or hair in all the wrong places, she can help you determine the best way to address your concerns and help you feel confident and radiant in your own skin. When not in the treatment room you can find her dancing at music festivals on the weekends, snuggled up at home with her two kitties or doing her own skincare ritual. She’s also passionate about house plants and loves to pick out new plants to add to her collection and watch them flourish.

Whitni is a licensed Master Esthetician who is extremely passionate about helping patients achieve their skin goals through sharing her knowledge of skincare and providing corrective facials in the treatment room. She loves getting to know all aspects of her patients’ lives as she believes in both external and internal factors playing a role in healthy skin. She enjoys providing custom plans to each individual as she knows healthy skin is not one size fits all. During her free time, she loves hanging out with her husband and their fur baby. They enjoy sports, traveling, and being around friends.

As a holistic esthetician, Ashley sees beauty as a profound metaphysical experience of divinity within our own body. From Gua sha to Chakra Balancing Facials, many of her treatments are based on eastern modalities that bridge the mind and body. Focused on balanced beauty she is here to help you achieve a healthy glow that radiates from the inside, out. Getting to know Ashley, she is currently studying to become an herbalist. Fascinated by the healing power of plants, and using this knowledge to help heal and support the body as a whole. Ashley is passionate about what she does and also enjoys painting, yoga and gardening.

After graduating Magna Cum Laude at Eastern Washington University with her Bachelor’s in Psychology, Angela's focus shifted to beauty, health and wellness. This passion led her to become the Assistant Coach for the Ferris Dance Team and studying to become a Pilates instructor.

Angela is always on the hunt for new challenges and opportunities that make an impact and feels her position at Crafted Beauty is the perfect fit. She loves watching each patient’s confidence grow as they walk through the doors of Crafted Beauty.

She recently purchased her first home on the South Hill of Spokane and is excited about planting permanent roots in her community. She enjoys spending time at home and hosting game nights with friends. She keeps busy with her new German Shepherd puppy, Mavis, and is always looking forward to the next travel opportunity.

Kat has grown up a Spokane native her whole life—She spends all her free time outside going on hikes and walks year round & in the summer finds any excuse to be at the lake! She graduated from Paul Mitchell and received her cosmetologist license this year. Her passion for everything beauty, health & wellness led her to Crafted Beauty. At Crafted Beauty she finds the collaboration of likeminded professionals with the love to make people feel & look their best is her favorite place to be!

Jenae entered the medical space by working for a dermatologist in 2018 and has had a passion for medical aesthetics ever since. She loves seeing the transformation in patients' confidence when they walk through our doors, and is so happy to expand her knowledge here at Crafted Beauty, helping our beautiful patients along their own aesthetic journey. Born and raised in Spokane, WA, she loves the classic PNW adventure. She enjoys spending time with family and friends, so much so, that she lives on the same street as her brother. When she isn’t running around town with her daughter, she's kayaking, traveling, and attending baseball games.

Duska comes to us with 7 years of experience in the medical field before changing career paths to an executive assistant role. Duska finds pleasure in client satisfaction and customer service and loves to ensure an efficient and beautiful product delivery experience. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time at the lake, watching her daughter play volleyball, having girls nights with friends and relaxing at home with her husband, cat, and a good book.

Katie earned her degree in Design from Washington State in 2016. She comes to Crafted Beauty with ample marketing experience across social media, management, sales, and merchandising, fueling her passion to build brands that enrich our everyday lives. Throughout her life, Katie has been passionate about the world of aesthetics and beauty. She’s energized by the opportunities at Crafted Beauty to promote both product and skin health as well as wellness, ultimately helping patients feel even more confident and beautiful. Outside of work, you can find Katie spending time in Sandpoint, ID with her husband and twin boys, working out at FGF, or obsessing over flipping houses and interior design.
